This 1965 hand-stitched friendship was made by a group of women, probably who were in a quilting circle together. The square blocks have pinwheel fabrics of solid and small patterns. They are bordered in white strips that have embroidered signatures of the women who made it. The quilt’s background is white with a pink hem. The quilt was probably stored away as a keepsake because there is very little wear and only a few age spots. 82.5” x 95.”
