What can I say about this art collage that
draws me in so completely? This is a 7.5 x 9.5 inch art collage that has the depth of several layers of photo negatives and cut-outs, with a base layer of National Gallery Washington DC 1988 postcard. It is un-matted in a silver-colored metal frame. Total size is 8.25 x 10.25 inches. What caught my eye first is that sheep! It made me think of Robert Rauschenberg’s sheep sculpture. All the photo negatives of windows and a Victorian house, and cutouts of people and various spaces have the feel of Jean Dubuffet or Jean-Michel Basquiat’s art. This collage is signed along the bottom negative—and one thing is clear to me— there is a lot going on in this art piece!
