LS2 Helmets Blaze II Solid Adventure Motorcycle Helmet – Matte Black, 702-101. The Blaze II features a shield and built-in sunshield, being the perfect companion for those long, cross country treks. The Blaze II shell is made from LS2’s proprietary Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA), is lightweight, offers just a little flex as part of the energy management system, and is ultra-strong. It tests as well as the best composite materials in the world and is the perfect material for an ADV helmet. LS2 uses 3 separate shell sizes and 6 EPS safety liners specifically designed to work with the KPA shell. The interior comfort padding is pre-curved using LS2’s 3D laser technology, is moisture resistant, and dries quickly. The liner removable and washable and utilizes LS2’s Emergency Release System. Multiple intake and exhaust ports are ported through the internal EPS to allow flow-through ventilation. The cheek pads are slightly curved to accommodate eyeglasses. Fitting an intermediate oval head shape its also DOT approved and meets the FMVSS 218 Standard.
