Once connected, you can switch to personal listening at any moment by streaming music or podcasts from a phone over Bluetooth, or by using Wi-Fi to play directly from services such as Spotify.

Alexa is built in, turning the soundbar into a hands-free control center. An array with eight microphones hears requests even when the volume is high, so you can adjust levels, launch playlists, or check the news without picking up a remote.

Bose matched the performance with a design that complements modern living rooms.
