It can be used as a wobble extension bar when an offset clearance is needed or as a regular rigid extension bar. The wobble feature enables you to reach and turn fasteners that are obstructed and can only be reached at an angle. It allows up to 15 degrees offset. Spring-loaded ball detent holds sockets securely in place. When fully inserted (not at an angle), the extension bar locks into a regular rigid extension bar.
