About the Swann Morton Blade Remover/Sharps Container: This sharps container for the scalpel blade has 2 uses. - Removal of blade directly off the scalpel. - Storage of used used blades / Sharps container To remove blades from scalpel handle*, simply put the blade in the open receptacle and push down on the plastic handle of the teal box. Blade holder/sharps box can hold approximately 100 blades, and can be disposed after filling with used blades. About the Twain & Moss Kelly Hemostat This hemostat is used by physicians and professionals in aiding the attachment of the blade to the blade handle*, without touching the blade with bare hands, which could be very dangerous to handle and add the risk of being soiled with oils & bacteria from handling.
