The next figurine from our collection is this Goebel Hummel Figurine entitled "EXTRA! EXTRA! from the Miller's 25th AND FINAL Hummel Expo!! This Goebel collectible features a young boy selling newspapers. Super cute!!! This Goebel Hummel figurine stands about 5" tall. It has the TMK 8 Goebel trademark on the bottom and is dated 2002!
The Miller's Expo was a joyous affair that brought Hummel Collectors and Dealers together for a 2 day period to buy, sell and trade Hummel figurines. In the early years, the Expo was held at the Fairgrounds near Eaton, Ohio. As the event grew in popularity, it eventually found a home in the spacious confines of the Dayton Convention Center. The 25th and Final Miller's Expo was held June 14-16th in 2002. At the time, Goebel produced an exclusive Limited Edition Extra Extra Hummel figurine to commemorate the event.
