This kit allows you to easily upgrade your 88-01 Honda/Acura ignition system to Coil On Plug allowing for bigger spark energy and more complete combustion for increased horsepower and aids in fighting spark blow out under high RPM/high boost applications. Other benefits include faster starts, smoother idle, cleaner acceleration through RPM band.
COP controller is compatible with 88-01 B/D/F/H series Honda/Acura engines and USDM OBD1 ECUs. Installation DOES require soldering and the ECU case to be modified. No wire cutting or splicing is required and conversion is completely reversible if needed. Controller can be installed in completely stock OBD1 ECUs, chipped ECUs, and RTP devices such as Hondata & the Moates Demon. No software or tuning is required following conversion. NOTE: COP harness is designed for use with OBD1 engine harnesses with a 2 pin power and signal distributor plug. OBD2 distributor pins are slightly smaller.
