Product Description Medline's Blockade surgical gowns offer protection, comfort and cost savings for hospitals and surgery centers. The Blockade fabric is made of 99% polyester with 1% carbon to help dissipate static electricity. The fabric's high-density construction resists fluids while maintaining comfort and functionality. • HELPS DISSIPATE STATIC: 1% carbon construction helps dissipate static electricity. Static electricity can pose several risks (involuntary movements from staff, flammability, equipment interference, and airborne microbe contamination). It's important to keep this hazard out of the OR.
